The production process for cable assemblies primarily encompasses material preparation, cable processing, connection assembly, and inspection and testing. Prior to production, necessary materials-such as cables, connectors, terminals, and protective sleeves-must be prepared in accordance with product design specifications; these materials undergo checks to ensure their specifications and performance meet production standards. Selecting appropriate raw materials provides a reliable foundation for subsequent processing steps and enhances the overall quality of the cable assemblies.

 

Cable processing involves key operations such as cutting, stripping, terminal crimping, soldering, and assembly. Cables are precisely cut and organized according to design drawings, ensuring reliable connections between conductors and terminals. For multi-core cable assemblies, conductors must be arranged and secured in the specified sequence to prevent connection errors. Additionally, depending on application requirements, processes such as adding shielding layers, applying heat-shrink protection, and securing with cable ties are implemented to improve the assembly's protective capabilities and operational reliability.

 

Once assembled, cable assemblies undergo rigorous quality testing, including continuity, insulation, and withstand voltage tests, as well as visual inspections and functional verification. Testing allows for the early detection of production defects, ensuring the product meets design requirements and usage standards. Only after passing inspection do the assemblies proceed to packaging and delivery.
