M12 5 Pin Threaded Waterproof Connector IP67

The M12 5‑pin threaded connector delivers 6A/250V AC power to industrial automation, outdoor LED luminaires, and automotive subsystems. The M12×1.0 thread ensures vibration‑resistant coupling. After 1,500 mating cycles, contact resistance remains ≤10mΩ, with insulation ≥500MΩ at 500V DC and dielectric withstand 1.5kV AC. Parallel circuitry supports daisy‑chained power distribution. Operating range –20°C to +85°C, IP67 rated. Nickel‑plated brass pins and PVC overmold resist corrosion; rubber O‑ring seals against moisture. Max cable OD 6.0mm. Custom cable lengths and colours available for OEM projects.

Product Engineering Drawing

Dimensional Drawing

The dimensional drawing provides all key mechanical data per the attached CAD extract. Male plug overall length is 41.7mm (excluding cable boot), with mating thread length 15.0mm and panel-side thread length 11.5mm. Female receptacle overall length also 41.7mm, featuring thread depth 10.5mm on the mating face and 9.2mm on the mounting side – note the asymmetry between male and female thread lengths. The fully mated assembly reduces to the specified envelope. All thread forms are M12×1.0; tolerances follow ISO 2768‑m. The drawing also indicates the recommended panel cutout diameter and polarising key position. PDF/DWG available for CAD integration. Review the 11.5mm and 9.2mm thread dimensions when designing panel clearance, as the male side requires deeper engagement than the receptacle mounting side.

Metal Mating Interface (Male and Female Connected)

This photo focuses on the mated interface, highlighting the metal‑to‑metal contact between the threaded coupling nut and the receptacle shell. The nickel‑plated brass threads are fully engaged, showing no gap at the joint – this ensures both mechanical rigidity and continuous shielding against electromagnetic interference. The sealing ring is compressed evenly around the circumference, visible as a thin dark line at the mating seam. This image confirms proper fit and finish, useful for quality inspection before field deployment.

Male and Female Separated

This photo shows the male plug (left) and female receptacle (right) separated, with both sets of M12×1.0 metal threads clearly exposed. The male thread is machined from solid brass with nickel plating; the female internal thread shows the same plating quality. No plastic threads are used – all load‑bearing and sealing surfaces are metallic, ensuring long‑term torque retention and resistance to cross‑threading. The O‑ring on the male side is visible behind the thread root. This image is a quick reference for thread condition and seal placement before assembly.

FAQ

Q1: What electrical ratings do your connectors cover?

A: From 3A/110V for compact sensors and LED lighting, all the way up to 20A/250V for heavy-duty industrial equipment – we have it covered. All models feature contact resistance ≤10mΩ and a minimum of 1,500 mating cycles.

Q2: What is the operating temperature range?

A: -20°C to +85°C – normal operation within this range. Works fine in freezing outdoor winters and hot factory floors alike.
